If you have ever looked up at the vast, crystal-clear New Mexico sky and felt a sense of wonder, you belong with us. El Valle Astronomers is an all-volunteer community of stargazers dedicated to exploring the deep-space treasures of our region’s world-class dark skies.

Whether you are a seasoned observer hunting “faint fuzzies” or a beginner looking for your first constellation, there is a place for you in our circle.

Membership Benefits

For just $20 per year, your membership provides dual access to both our local club and the Astronomical League (AL). Benefits include:

• The Reflector Magazine: A subscription to the AL’s high-quality quarterly publication.
• Observing Programs: Access to world-renowned AL certification programs. Our members are currently active in everything from the Messier and Binocular Messier lists to the challenging Herschel 400.
• Community & Collaboration: Beyond official events, members often coordinate informal “buddy sessions” on private land or nearby public sites to share equipment, knowledge, and the view.
